Women’s Reading Retreat
The ExperienceJoin us in Scotland to experience the release week of ACOTAR 6 together in real time—reading alongside others discovering the story for the first time while every detail is taken care of so you can fully immerse in the experience.
The Estate
This magnificent Edwardian country house is set in the glorious Highland Perthshire countryside surrounded by its own farm and estate. Its winding salmon river and backdrop of the majestic surrounding hills make it the ideal hideaway. The House retains its original Edwardian features throughout including wood paneled walls in an impressive hallway and beautiful antique furnishings. The drawing room with its open fire and large bay window overlooking the garden, has a comfortable elegance, whilst the study provides a cosy retreat in which to spend some quiet time sitting in front of a roaring log fire.
The Itinerary
Day 1
We travel together from Edinburgh to the estate and settle into the house and surrounding countryside. On arrival you’ll be welcomed with a champagne toast, followed by time to settle in before gathering for a cocktail hour and our first dinner together as the week begins.
Day 2
After breakfast we head into the Cairngorms to spend time in the beautiful landscape before returning to the estate to prepare for the evening’s release celebration. That night we gather for an ACOTAR 6 release party, sharing theories, predictions, and favorite moments from the series as we count down to the book’s release together.
Day 3 & 4
These two days are intentionally kept open for reading, conversation, and moving through the book at your own pace. Meals are shared together throughout the day, with optional activities available across the estate for anyone who wants a break between chapters. Some guests spend hours reading in the drawing room or conservatory. Others step outside for walks, wildlife spotting, or quiet time in the surrounding countryside.
Day 5
We come back together for our final group discussion after everyone has had time to finish the book.
In the evening we head out for a relaxed farewell dinner at a local restaurant before returning to the estate for our last night together.
Day 6
We share one last breakfast together before departing the estate and returning to Edinburgh, marking the close of a week spent reading, exploring, and experiencing the book release together.

Additional Information
Room Details
All private rooms are located on the second floor of the house, while shared rooms are located on the third floor. Room sizes vary slightly, and pricing is based on bed type and room category.
For shared rooms, you’ll have the option to request a roommate after booking. If no preference is submitted, roommates will be assigned prior to arrival.
Bathrooms
There are seven bathrooms in the house shared among eleven guest rooms. All bathrooms are shared, with the exception of the King Room with Ensuite Bathroom.
Bathrooms throughout the house include a mix of bathtubs with overhead shower heads, and traditional bathtubs without shower attachments. Because of this variety, bathrooms are not assigned to specific rooms and remain available for shared use within each floor.
All private rooms include an additional in-room sink. The private-room floor also has two separate toilet rooms that are independent from the bathing spaces.
*Please note that the King Room Ensuite Bathroom includes a traditional bathtub without an overhead shower. The guest staying in this room is welcome to use any of the other bathrooms on the same floor when they prefer access to a showerhead.
Payment Plans
All bookings will be secured with a non-refundable $750 deposit.
After you book your spot, you’ll receive a Guest Onboarding Packet within 24–48 hours. This will include a questionnaire, the Retreat Participation Agreement, and your options for selecting a payment plan or completing the remaining balance in full.
You’ll have the option to split your balance in up to three monthly payments, with one payment due at the beginning of each month.
All payment plans will include a 5% service charge.
Please note that the remaining balance must be paid in full no later than 90 days prior to the retreat start date. Reservations with an unpaid balance after this deadline may be released, and payments made up to that point are non-refundable. If circumstances change and you’re no longer able to attend, we will do our best to assist in finding a replacement guest for your spot. Any refund in this situation would be made only if a replacement is secured.
